No okay so I was looking through the 321 tag and saw @class1akids​ post about how Iieda holds Izuku’s hand, and they described it as “how you would hold the hand of a lost child” and I totally agree

And I was like oh yeah you can see cuz of how gently he’s holding it and, really, it’s just so sweet

But the way Iieda holds Izuku’s hand reminded me of another panel, in which two characters held each other’s hands so softly

This panel, the comfort it radiates and the reassurance that she is there for him

Reminds me of this!! Iieda holding Izuku’s hand!

And I guess you could say it’s the same kind of placement? Like, Hana and Iieda offering their hands while Tenko and Izuku’s are on top

Plus, it’s the same kind of situation: isolated from others, the person who is always there for them, who they look up to, comes to get them and bring them home. They hold their hands so comfortingly, so reassuringly, to bring them back with the hopes of a brighter future. Like they will always be there to help them during the highs and the lows

They will always be there to comfort the lost children
